small joys.*

{I was unexpectedly downtown at lunchtime this week and finally got to try La Brasserie's food cart. It did not disappoint.}

I've had a really great week! It was one of those weeks that somehow seemed to strike the right note between fun and work. I'm looking forward continuing the balance of productivity and fun this weekend: brunch with friends and a couple of Dine Out Vancouver dinners are in store, as well as finishing a project or two.

{I am happy to report that I made it through 30 days without drinking, but my first glass of wine after my break tasted pretty good!}

{My aunt's copy of The Joy of Cooking. It'll be a lovely reminder of her every time I use it.}
