small joys.*

{Beer, chips, tulips and a picnic to celebrate my last day of work.}
This has been a weird week and I've attacked it with the aplomb of a sloth. The jet lag that returning from China brought on, is entirely to blame. Today was my last full time day at Echo Memoirs, where I've worked for the last four and a bit years. It's been a totally bittersweet and sleepy week but I'm really excited about what I'm up to next. Saying good bye to a chapter in my life is strange and a little sad, but onwards and upwards as they say. Here are a few things that made this week more sweet than bitter.

{A jacket I had made in Shanghai that I'm in love with. I can't get enough of the aubergine lining (which would be tacky to brag about because I picked it but I'm bragging about anyway).}

{Another China purchase: sandals.}

{We came home to thriving plants and a thriving cat! You really can't take great apartment caretakers for granted.}
{A delightful good bye lunch with my colleagues on Thursday at Chill Winston.}
