... work!
My first ever 'on my way to ...' post was of my walk to work and I posted it around this time last year. Since moving three months ago, my route has changed a little bit and last week, on a particularly clear day, I thought I'd take a few photos to illustrate the change.

... nowhere really! On Saturday, we wandered up into Gastown to try out a new-to-us coffee shop. It was a beautiful day, so I snapped far too many pictures. It was one of those perfect mornings when you couldn't ask for better weather, company or food.

And, if girls were guys at the bar ... and vice versa. This made me laugh.

... Portland, Oregon. On Saturday, Jenn and I hopped on a train to join a reunion of sorts, with Abbie, Caitlin and Laura, friends from the motherland, who are now spread out across the continent. I loved the train! It was so much more calm than flying and Jenn and I had a great chance to catch up.

... my house. I snapped these while Nick and I walked back from returning a co-op car this weekend. It was a perfect fall day, crisp but sunny, perfect for taking photos.

Steveston! On Saturday, I joined two Andreas on a bike ride to Steveston. It was a 35-kilometre round trip ride with some lovely and not-so-lovely scenery along the way.

Victoria! I love ferries. Perhaps it's the prairie girl in me but there is something so novel about eating meals on a boat and walking in crazy wind on the deck.

The grocery store! I took these ten days ago but they didn't make it onto my little space here until now. The tulips are going, going, gone right now, but they'll make way for all the greenery of summer.
