doula, doula, doula.

I thought that, considering my last post, I should write about the doula course I took three weeks ago. I was a wee bit skeptical but mostly excited about the experience. I was a little bit worried that it would be full of patchouli wearing earth mothers but it turned out to be exactly what I wanted: a great group of women all really passionate about the same thing. We watched some truly inspiring birth videos which confirmed my belief that women's bodies are meant to do this. A alternative career could be in my future!
