found: one steamer trunk.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Nick and I are champion alley combers. (Before you say anything, yes, I know bedbugs are a problem in Vancouver but some times, you've got to risk it!) We will often dream about some particular item and sort of forget about it until, low and behold, it pops up abandoned in a back alley or friend's apartment lobby (with a free sign, let me just make that clear) some months later. A few months ago we were saying how great it would be to have a steamer trunk in our attic to keep all of the guest bedding. On Sunday Nick found this beauty in our back alley, just a few houses down. Though it didn't end up in the attic because it's just too awesome to hide up there, it's a great addition to our apartment. The bright colour is fantastic with our blue (also found free) chairs and, once it's properly aired out, it'll hold a lot of stuff! I think that saying 'ask and ye shall receive' really sums this one up!
