| 1. Getting free peonies thrown into a $5 tulip purchase made me really happy at the Farmers' Market this morning. They'll only last for a few days but they made our apartment smell amazing. |

| 2. Besides finding a fantastic trunk in the alley this week, we found a new coffee maker. Since our old one dripped everywhere, this was an awesome find. |

| 3. On Saturday morning we went to Cafe Medina for brunch. I've been really excited to try it and was not disappointed. I think they might have the best coffee in Vancouver. (A milk chocolate lavender mocha is pictured above. So good. Also, get waffles ... even if it's just one to share before brunch.) |

| 4. Nick and I made this strawberry and rhubarb pie. It took a little bit of work but we got a perfect lattice crust. |
